Popins Founder
Hi, I'm Jackie. I have two awesome kids who bring me great joy, amazement, and exasperation. I have a wonderful husband who is a true partner, great dad, and sometimes chooses to not turn off the power before doing minor electrical work. I like coffee, cozy blankets and snuggles with aforementioned husband on the couch, crisp fall days, and yep, walks on the beach. Not a fan of hot, humid summer days or sweating in general.
I spent 15 years working in Healthcare IT, leading complex implementations and customer scenarios, and managing large teams to achieve great results.
I was working in the Netherlands throughout my first pregnancy and maternity leave. There, every woman has a right to postnatal care. Our postnatal caregiver came to our home a few hours a day for the first few days. She checked on my physical recovery and mental health, answered questions, assisted with breastfeeding and bathing our son, and even provided my husband and me a guilt-free nap!
We are now in Madison, WI. When my daughter was born here, the difference in postnatal support was immediately noticeable. My own experience, along with countless stories from new moms inspired the creation of Popins.
I believe that people want to be the best version of themselves at work and at home, for themselves, their colleagues, and their loved ones. I am excited to help you and your family thrive.
